Mr. S. M. Mudassar Nazar is a LL.B., MBA, M.Sc. in Finance. Having completed his education from Aberdeen, United Kingdom and Brussels, Belgium, he has had a great international exposure. Professionally, he has actively worked across the world, handling matters of corporate law, civil litigation, investment banking and tort with an experience of almost two decades. Mudassar has been instrumental in successful execution of various projects of mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring, equity financing and alternative investments. He has worked with the highest echelons in the industry, including participants like Saudi commission of Tourism, Russian Railways, Ascott, Shangri La and others.

He has also handled various corporate and civil matters before the judicial and quasi-judicial forums including tribunals, high courts and the Supreme Court in India and US and various benches including Queen’s bench, and the King’s bench in UK and Canada. Mudassar is an active member of various social causes such as TeachIndia Foundation, Mumbai and International Society of Poets, California.

At ECOFIN, Mudassar spearheads the Legal and Compliance division. Mudassar is currently based at Delhi, India.
