Walid started his long career spanning more than three decades as Assistant to General Manager with SANITREX Lebanon & Spain and worked as Director in Altamkeen General, a non-governmental organization, which supports Lebanese citizens in improving their living conditions through credit loans to small and medium enterprises; as Project Manager (Bekaa) with UNDP Art Gold in Lebanese Hosting Community Program, Syrian crisis; as UN Resident Coordinator Head office (Bekaa & Mount Lebanon); as Program Manager at UNDP/UNRSRD (Reintegration and Socio-economic Rehabilitation of the displaced) Program Second Phase; as Program National coordinator at EU (European Union)/Ministry of displaced, Project for the economic recovery of the displaced in the agriculture & agro- industrial sectors (extension center, credit program), Program Second Phase; as Program National coordinator at NDP/UNRSRD (Reintegration and Socio-economic Rehabilitation of the displaced) Program Second Phase; as socio-economic consultant and operational manager at UNDP/UNRSRD (Reintegration and Socio-economic Rehabilitation of the displaced) Project, at UNICEF as Field Officer and as Head of Department of Coca Cola, Lebanon.

Walid's core competence lies in drawing Strategy and Action Plans, coordinate and liaisons program activities in the fields of (social networks, health, education, environment, agriculture, economic opportunities) and new support proposals with program partners (Municipalities, CBO’s , NGO’s) and other international and national agencies developing activities in local economies, develop monitoring and reporting framework, and planning and implementation of national policies of various global developmental bodies. Walid is also an expert on various national and international surveys, including industry surveys and guiding policy decisions to global developmental bodies.
